About Us

International Performing Arts is a non-profit organization overseen by dedicated volunteers. As a non-profit organization, our mission is to provide performance opportunities for young artists to showcase their talents, at the same time utilizing performing arts to promote cultural diversity within our community and beyond.  

The Rising Stars Dance Team is a part of the International Performing Arts. This team of elite dancers are middle or high school students that are committed to the art of dance. On top of taking 6-14 hours of professional dance training per week, they also take summer and winter intensive dance trainings. These young talents are dedicated to showcasing their talents while promoting the art of dance and cultural diversity.

Over the years, International Performing Arts had opportunities to promote the art of dance and cultural diversity through performing arts at public schools, such as Sato Elementary School, Jacob Wismer Elementary School, Scholls Ferry Elementary School, Forest Heights Elementary School, Hope Chinese Charter School, as well as Lan Su Chinese Garden, Providence Festival of Trees, Bethany Library Annex and Beaverton Library. Our most recent major events including, Community Free Dance Program, sponsored by Oregon Cultural Trust, and 2023 Chinese Cultural Exhibition with the City of Beaverton.
